The Glock 48/43X magwell is intended for every day carry. Its external contours were designed to maximize comfort when worn and handled. It improves reload reliability and prevents the pesky "mag pinch"*. This 3D printed part is made from 20% carbon fiber reinforced nylon. This makes the magwell incredibly light, weighing in at only 0.2 ounces, while still being surprisingly durable.
* "mag pinch" is when the gun magazine pinches part of your hand or pinky between the top of the mag base and bottom of the pistol grip when you are reloading your gun.
This magwell DOES NOT work with Shield Arms flush-fit magazines WITHOUT our alternate magazine base plate. Each magwell has an option for one FREE magazine base plate for the S15 magazines.
The Shield Arms +5 magazine extension works perfectly with our Glock 48/43X magwell.
